The best time to install a new roof is Autumn. Temperatures are perfect for roofing work. Winter is heading our way and cold weather can make it difficult for shingles to adhere correctly. This can cause problems with sealing shingles. The overall work day is shortened for roofers possibly making the project longer to complete.  

Roofing companies agree that in Pennsylvania, roofing in the fall is the best time. Fall is generally dryer with enough daylight to get your roof completed quickly.
